Kate Higgins welcomes us to her brand-new shop in Hubbard Woods! Watch Kate create two gorgeous flower arrangements and check out her collection of items for home, garden & entertaining.

Life with Trees at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew  

Tony Kirkham, retired Head of Arboretum Gardens & Horticulture Services at Kew in the United Kingdom, shares highlights of his 43-year career with trees.  Weeders join many other local garden club members to enjoy this engaging speaker.

Chalet Garden Center Showcase

Weeders favorite Jennifer Brennan, Horticulture Information Specialist at Chalet Landscape, Nursery & Garden Center, will lead us on a private tour of the garden, highlighting new (and her favorite) perennials, ground covers, annuals and flowering shrubs. 

Summer Garden Visit
As summer unfolds, local gardens become so colorful and lush! We'll visit an amazing private garden of a lovely historic home with pool and pool house in Hubbard Woods, then gather at Mino's for a toast to the summer solstice!

Sip & See Gatherings
 Summer is a time to visit gardens! 

Look for pop-up garden club gatherings during these months.  Enjoy  fellow Weeders' gardens and a few sips of of wine on summer evenings!

Backyard Flower Lab Visit

Join April Potterfield for a tour of her four-acre "Backyard Flower Lab" in Winnetka. She will walk us through her garden journey including her  experiments in growing/nurturing flowers and in spreading joy through flower arrangements donated to others.
